About Hamina Wireless

At Hamina Wireless, we build software and hardware for Wi‑Fi, Private 5G, and IoT. We empower wireless professionals to design, deploy, and manage networks with fast, easy‑to‑use, visual, modern tools. We’re an experienced team that values concrete results, clear thinking, and craftsmanship. We love complex problems and shipping polished software and hardware with a team that’s thoughtful, considerate, and razor‑sharp. We’re small enough to move fast and large enough to deliver enterprise grade software.

Our Culture

Great work comes from ownership, curiosity, and action. We run flat and everyone contributes, everyone rolls up their sleeves, and the best idea wins regardless of who it comes from. You'll work alongside people who care deeply about the work and each other.

Why This Role Matters

Most enterprise Wi-Fi is sold through, or shaped by, the major infrastructure vendors: Cisco, HPE Aruba, Extreme, Fortinet, Ruckus, Arista, Ubiquiti, D-Link, Zyxel, Huawei and their partner and VAR ecosystems. This role builds the relationships that put Hamina in front of more network teams in every stage of the network lifecycle. The best alliance leaders don't just sign partners; they make the vendor's field teams want to lead with you. It's as much evangelist as dealmaker: you'll teach, enable, and become the person vendor engineers trust on Wi-Fi design. You’ll be at the forefront of creating  and bringing to market highly integrated solutions between Hamina and partners.

About the role

As Director, Strategic Alliances & Evangelism, you'll own the relationships that matter most to our go-to-market globally. You'll work at the senior level inside the vendors, building co-sell motions, and joint GTM programmes. You'll also develop the broader partner ecosystem, VAR’s, MSP’s, and SI’s who can carry Hamina into enterprise accounts through the channel. This is a rare opportunity to join at a formative moment. You’ll identify product integration possibilities, help bring them to life, and then bring them to market. Hamina has product-market fit and a growing self-serve and enterprise base, and the next step is building our vendor and alliance motion. You'll report to the CRO.

What you’ll do

  • Be the face of Hamina inside vendor and partner organizations, the name their field teams think of the moment a deal needs the best Wi-Fi design, troubleshooting and management tools complimenting the vendor dashboards
  • Build and execute co-sell motions with vendor field teams: joint pipeline development, deal registration, MDF programmes, and make sure our integrations are fully commercialized
  • Develop joint GTM plans that embed Hamina into vendor pre-sales and solution-selling workflows
  • Identify, onboard, and enable VAR’s, MSP’s, and SI’s who can carry Hamina through the channel
  • Carry a pipeline and bookings target for vendor-influenced and partner-sourced ARR
  • Turn complex RF and network-design topics into a story that lands with both technical and commercial audiences
  • Help create and bring to market new product integrations between the partners and Hamina
  • Build a partner programme in collaboration with our future channel lead

You may be a fit if

  • 8–15+ years in enterprise technology sales, channel sales, or vendor alliances with meaningful time in networking, wireless infrastructure, or adjacent categories
  • You have existing relationships inside infrastructure vendors networking divisions at the field, partner, or business-unit level
  • You've held a title like Alliance Director, Partner Alliance Director, or Technology Alliance Manager at an ISV or infrastructure software company, and you treat a partnership as a revenue-generating P&L, not a relationship-management exercise
  • You're comfortable operating at VP/Director level inside partner organisations: Executive Business Reviews, Quarterly Sales Reviews, 360 relationship reviews
  • You can discuss Wi-Fi planning, RF design, and network architecture credibly with field SE’s and architects without necessarely being an engineer yourself
  • You've seen what good looks like and can get there from scratch
  • US-based and comfortable with significant travel (30–40%)
  • You're energized by building, not just executing. In other words: you won’t just drink partner-provided coffee, you actually roll your sleeves.
  • You can get things done and followed through inside vendor organizations

What we offer

  • Interesting & challenging work at a company with genuine product‑market fit in a category ready to scale
  • Work‑life balance
  • Competitive compensation depending on your location (base salary + OTE + equity )
  • Regular team events and offsites
  • 100% employer‑covered medical benefits (employee coverage)
  • A people‑first culture where low ego isn’t a value written on a wall — it’s how we actually operate. The best idea wins, titles don’t.

Hiring Process

  • Send your resume or link your LinkedIn profile with a short note on your vendor relationship depth.
  • A quick chat about your background, interest in Hamina, and fit on both sides.
  • Role‑fit Interview: We’ll work through real scenarios around vendor relationships, to understand how you think, build, and operate.
  • Culture Interview: We’ll explore your ways of working and whether our culture is the right fit for you to thrive.
  • Offer & Onboarding — Welcome to Hamina!
  • Toast a spicy margarita (or mocktails) at the Hamina office in downtown Helsinki
